FiveM Launcher Installation Guide

Welcome! Follow this guide to download and install the FiveM Launcher (wLauncher) and get connected to our server.

Why We Use a Launcher

Our server uses emergency vehicles that require a specific siren setting limit adjuster plugin to function correctly. To ensure these vehicles operate properly, we use the wLauncher to manage this plugin. This is a standard practice for many servers.

Selecting FiveM Executable

Once you open the launcher for the first time, it will prompt you to select FiveM.exe. You have to find where your FiveM is stored, and select FiveM.exe so the launcher knows where to launch FiveM from, and import our required plugins.

Common Location

%localappdata%\FiveM

Paste the above location in the address bar of your file explorer to quickly navigate to the FiveM folder.

Importing the Profile File

Attached in the message found in the 🔗connection-info channel on Discord is a profile file. Download and import this file into the launcher to seamlessly connect to our server.

Addressing Antivirus & SmartScreen Warnings

Your antivirus software might flag wLauncher.exe as a potential threat. Please be assured that this is a false positive. Adjust your antivirus settings to allow the installation of wLauncher.

For those concerned, here is a VirusTotal Scan → (Yes, there is 1 out of 71 flagged, but nothing else is flagged. This is what we call a false positive.)

Windows Defender SmartScreen

When you open the installer, you might see a Windows Defender SmartScreen warning saying "Windows protected your PC." This happens because the installer does not have a code-signing certificate (which can be quite expensive). To proceed, follow these steps:

Click Show More.
Click Run Anyway.

After installation, the launcher should work smoothly without any further interruptions.
